Ninth International Conference on Modern Mathematical Physics was successfully held in Yerevan.
The first conference of this kind took place in winter of 1982 at the ski resort Tsaghkadzor. First time it took place in the capital. The previous one was also in Tsaghkadzor. Among the venues were also Nor-Hamberd (Aragats) and the shore of Lake Sevan.
Many well known scientists were among the participants of previous conferences, such as
Sergio Albeverio, Roland Dobrushin, Vadim Malyshev, Robert Minlos, Salvador Miracle-Sole, Alexander Polyakov, Yakov Sinai, Anatoly Vershik and others.
Conferences covered various topics in the area of Mathematical Physics and have provided an excellent opportunity for exchange of ideas and information and contributed to the overall development of modern Mathematical Physics in Armenia.
